THE STORY

My BMW ownership journey started in 2001 with the purchase of a used 1990 325is coupe. In total, I have owned seven BMWs and currently still own two; a 740i and a 635csi. The seven series BMW a 1999 e38 silver with a grey interior equipped with the sports package. The six series is a 1988 black with a white interior 1988 635sci five-speed. 
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed owning all of my BMWs, but these cars demand a level of commitment. Most people shy away from owning an older BMW because of maintenance costs. I will admit that they can be expensive vehicles to maintain, but many projects can be handled with some basic tools and a few hours spent in the driveway or the garage. I will demonstrate DYI upgrades and repairs, some of my favorite BMW websites, and my favorite online stores for parts on this site.
